Superflat Long Strip
CoGri Middle East have been constructing SuperFlat floor for very narrow aisle (VNA) warehouse with high racking installation. SuperFlat Long Strip (SF-LS) is a conventional methodology common used by CoGri Middle East in achieving the required floor flatness.
As the construction and designing of SuperFlat floors is highly specialised and crucial, the client must involve the flooring specialists as early as possible ideally during the planning stage. SuperFlat Long Strip (SF-LS) is able to use various slab designs such as: Suspended Slabs, Slabs on Grade and Bonded Toppings Slab . As this method requires construction joints to be formed below the racking, the very narrow aisle (VNA) racking layout must be fixed prior to the floor construction.
Design – Construct – Insure
Most Importantly, CoGri Middle East provides client an ease of mind as part of our DCI (Design – Construct – Insure) program. During the construction, engineers will take measurement of the finished SuperFlat floor according to the flatness specification assuring the required flatness is been met.
Compliance Testing
Please take note that there are many contractors in the market claim been able to construct SuperFlat floor and fail to provide compliance testing. If such practice goes unnoticed, the client may in return having a floor with high maintenance while very narrow aisle (VNA) lift truck not been able to operate effectively.
To correct the floor and rectifying it to it required flatness is expensive and complicated – See Laser Grinding Section. Therefore it is important for the client to engage flooring specialists who is experience with a proven track record.
